Beatles on Ukulele Benefit Show

Fate has a funny way of working things out.

A couple months ago, my husband, Alex, was drumming with a talented vocalist and guitar player, Johanna Chase. So when CBS assigned me a story on the top female musicians in LA, she immediately came to my mind. Then her PR rep saw the article and contacted me regarding an upcoming benefit show she is participating in. The more I learned about it, the more I fell in love with this amazing event – Beatles on Ukulele: The 50 Greatest Hits, a J/P HRO Benefit.

I am grateful my family and friends are safe, but my heart goes out to all those affected in CT, NY, and NJ especially. As a Hartford Restaurant examiner, I wrote a recent post regarding dining establishments in the state, post-Sandy, which can be seen here.
