Holiday music shouldn’t be reserved solely as background buzz or as a distant event on television, but should be celebrated locally as well. Having just moved from the East Coast to the West Coast about 2 weeks ago, I was devastated by the recent happenings of Hurricane Sandy back home. I am grateful my family and friends are safe, but my heart goes out to all those affected in CT, NY, and NJ especially.
